Technology and sustainability drive everything I do. I’ve researched sensor applications for electric vehicles, built deep learning models to help with disaster response, and started programs that get young people excited about climate action.
Karate and athletics keep me balanced, while space science fuels my sense of wonder. I love spending time with family and friends. And when playing music, I let creativity take over.
I’m constantly asking how innovation can solve real problems and try to find those answers.

During BWSI’s RS4DR course, I learnt about various techniques that could be harnessed to respond to natural disasters. I co-authored this paper with my peers in BWSI’s RS4DR course as we were inspired to use these earnings for something tangible.
lllegal logging in tropical peat swamp forests poses a substantial threat to global climate stability, contributing approximately 10-15% of worldwide greenhouse emissions and degrading crucial carbon storage ecosystems....
This study develops a deep learning model to detect illegal logging in Indonesia’s Mawas Conservation Area using Sentinel-1 SAR imagery. A hybrid UNet-DeepLabV3 architecture with an EfficientNet-B4 encoder and SCSE attention was trained on 690 images (2015-2016).
The model achieved strong performance (F1-Score 0.66, loU 0.49, accuracy 89.55%), showing the promise of deep learning for monitoring illegal logging in tropical peat swamp forests.
During my internship at elvoX, I have been learning about sensors and its applications. As I kept learning more about how telematics and sensors can be synergized, I decided to conduct my own research on how operational data from telematics systems can be utilized by logistics companies for various benefits, the focus of my research paper.
This research analyzes how telematics data can enhance efficiency, sustainability, and optimization in urban electric last-mile logistics fleets. Case studies from SIRO, Geotab, and municipal EV programs show gains such as extended range and reduced energy use. ...
The study highlights reinforcement learning for intelligent charging and routing, using Markov Decision Processes to achieve near-optimal performance. It also provides policy and technical recommendations on federated learning, edge computing, and smart-city integration. Overall, it argues that data-driven optimization is essential for the future viability and competitiveness of electric urban transportation.
I submitted this research paper to the CREST Gold awards by the British Association and have successfully received my award.
